Who we are
Halpern & Co. is the operating name of 1000782943 Ontario Ltd., an Ontario corporation. In these terms, "Halpern & Co.", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company.
We build across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. This policy covers halpernandco.ca and enquiries that reach us through it.

What we collect
When you send a brief through the contact form we collect the name, phone number, email address, project type and message you choose to give us. Nothing on the form is collected without you typing it.
Our form is delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form service, which processes the submission and passes it to us by email. A copy is also sent to BYJonathanLevy Media, who build and maintain this website on our behalf.
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. If we add analytics later, this page will be updated before it goes live.

Why we use it
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, quote and schedule work, and keep a record of the conversation. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell it or trade it.
We will only send you marketing email if you ask us to, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Who else sees it
Your information may be handled by our staff, by BYJonathanLevy Media as our website and marketing provider, and by the form and email providers that carry the message. Where a project requires it, we may share relevant details with trades, suppliers or consultants working on your build.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and to meet our record-keeping and tax obligations, then we delete them. Project records are kept for the life of the project and the period afterwards required by Ontario law.

Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
