Shell work is unforgiving — a foundation poured a degree out of level or a frame racked out of square compounds into every trade that follows. That's why we treat the structure as the most important part of the project, not the least visible.
Our process is grounded in three non-negotiables: quality of workmanship, safety on site, and efficiency of schedule. We protect neighbouring structures and the public during demolition, sequence excavation and foundation work to avoid costly weather delays, and frame to tolerances that make the finishing trades' jobs easier — and your finished home or building tighter and quieter.
Because Halpern & Co. also works as a full general contractor, our shell crews build the way a finisher wants to receive a structure. That continuity of standards is something a standalone shell sub simply can't offer.

Either. Many clients hire us for the structure to lock-up, while others keep us on as general contractor through to final finish. We're happy to do whichever suits your project and team.
